Warren "Tommy" Godbey

Warren Thomas Godbey, 70, of Concord, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022 at his residence.

"Tommy" was born April 2, 1952 in Mocksville, North Carolina to the late John Godbey and Ledeen Jordan Godbey.

Tommy was a loving husband to Ginny for 22 years. He loved the outdoors, camping, all animals especially horses and cars. Tommy was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

The funeral service will be on Saturday, October 8th, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord and be officiated by the Rev. Butch Stillwell.

Survivors include wife, Virginia "Ginny" Stillwell Godbey of Concord, NC, mother, Ledeen Jordan Godbey of Concord,sisters; Kay Carter(Jerry) of Mt. Pleasant, Brenda Crews(Wayne) Hampstead, NC, and Patsy Helper(Robert) of Concord, NC and brother Gene Godbey(Kathy),also many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and his lifetime best friend Tony Stillwell.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cabarrus, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannoplis, NC 28083, or the North Carolina Cancer Foundation.
