Sarah Ferguson

Sarah Lynn Ferguson, 66, of Midland, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe.

Sarah was born March 14, 1955 in North Carolina to the late Kincheon Privett and the late Betty Ballard Lawing.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Leon Ferguson, brother, Robert Privett, and sister, Doris Privett.

The family will receive friends from  10 a.m. - 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Clear Creek Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Clear Creek Baptist Church in Charlotte officiated by Rev. Homer Murdock. Burial will follow at the Clear Creek Church Cemetery at 9015 Ferguson Rd., Charlotte.

Survivors include daughter, Betty Timmons and husband Mark of Midland, NC, grandson, Leland Timmons, step-children, Jimmy Ferguson and wife Karen, and Sherrie Ferguson, and many step-grandchildren.

Sarah's favorite thing was going to the mountains and camping with her family. She also enjoyed taking day trips to various places and crocheting.
