Ruth Hill

Ruth Almond Hill, 91, of Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022 peacefully in her home.

Ruth was born January 13, 1931 in Stanly County to the late Richard Almond and the late Gracie Alvie Almond. She was also preceded in death by husband, Lowell Quincy Hill.

Ruth loved her family fiercely and loved taking care of them and the household. She loved the Lord and will be missed by all that knew her.

The Graveside service will be on Monday, May 9, 2022, at 11:30 am at Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, 32056 Herrin Grove Rd, Mount Pleasant, North Carolina officiated by Pastor Earl Bradshaw and Jean Bell.

Survivors include son, Lowell "Chip" Quincey Hill, Jr. of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly & The Uwharrie, 960 N 1st St, Albemarle, NC 28001 and Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, 32056 Herrin Grove Rd, Mount Pleasant, North Carolina.
