Ruby Hatley

Ruby Geraldine Hatley, 90, of Locust, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at University Place Nursing and Rehabilatation Services in Charlotte.

Mrs. Hatley was born June 6, 1930 to the late Titus Ezekiel and Lela Fink Burris. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Grover Ralph Hatley and son, Joel Dale Hatley.

A private graveside service will be held at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens, 3892 Hwy 73, Concord, officiated by Rev. Kelly Crisco.

Ruby is survived by daughter, Karen (Jesse) Simpson; daughter-in-law, Hilda Hatley; granddaughter, April (Anthony) Kennedy, grandson, Allen (Brittany) Simpson, grandson, Cory Simpson, Amanda Crayton; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
