Richard Griffin

Richard Lee Griffin, 48, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at his home in Albemarle.

Mr.Griffin was born July 16, 1973 in Stanly, North Carolina to the late Jessie Wayne Griffin and the late Delilah Bernice Griffin.  He was also preceded in death by brother, Jerry Wayne Griffin.

He was greatly loved by his family.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed car demolition.

Survivors include wife, Elizabeth Griffin; children, Christopher Almond, Kristin Almond, Katelynn Carpenter, Cheyanne Carpenter, Micheal Freeman, and Brooklyn Griffin; sister, Odessa (Wayne) Hathcock; brother, Roy Lee Roach; and nieces, Leann Lawlee and Debra Almond.
