Ralph Witt

Ralph Fryant Witt, 66, of Midland, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021.

Ralph was born December 14, 1954 in New York City to Ione Edwards Witt and the late John Denton Witt.  He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 28 years, Deborah.

Ralph grew up in Columbia, SC and graduated from A.C. Flora High School. He went on to earn a degree in Architecture from Clemson University and a M.B.A. from the University of South Carolina where he met his loving wife Deborah. Ralph and Deborah were married in Columbia SC in 1984 and went on to have 4 beautiful children. Ralph worked in his family construction business for many years and later as an entrepreneur. He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother, and will be deeply missed by his family.

Private services will be held at Back Creek Presbyterian Cemetery at 1821 Back Creek Church Rd., Charlotte.

Ralph will be lovingly remembered by daughter, Meredith W. (Justin) Gern of Apex, son, Patrick D. (Brittany) Witt of Columbus, Ohio, son, S. Bennett Witt of Raleigh, son, W. Grayson Witt of Charlotte; three granddaughters; three grandsons; mother, Ione Witt; brothers, Alex Witt and Andy Witt; and numerous other family members and friends.
