Rachel Honeycutt Kluttz, 83, of Concord, NC passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 25, 2021 surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Kluttz was born March 9, 1938 in Concord, NC to the late Eli Ingram Honeycutt and the late Ada Belle Ferris Honeycutt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl D. Kluttz; son, Gregory J. Kluttz; and sister, Elizabeth Faggart.
Survivors include her son, Warren D. Kluttz of Concord, NC; granddaughter, Amanda A. Barrier and husband Adron; granddaughter, Megan R. Webber and husband William; sisters, Margaret Pritchard, Sylvia Blackwelder and Rebecca Fine; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Kluttz was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, neighbor and friend, who always put others first and touched many lives. She served her community through the ECA for 34 years, where she held various positions. She was active in her church and could be found at the hot dog sale every Saturday. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 2:45 pm, Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Center United Methodist Church. A funeral service to celebrate her life will follow at 3:00 pm, officiated by Pastor Don Newman. She will be laid to rest at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis following the services.
