Nellie Hinson

Nellie Faye Talbert Hinson, 87 years of age of Locust, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Hinson was born July 11, 1924 in Stanly County to the late Chaplan P. Talbert and Myrtle Burgess Talbert. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Felton Jerome Hinson in 2006 and her son, Roger Hinson. A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Hinson at 11 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2012 at Philadelphia Baptist Church of Stanfield. At other times, the family will meet at the home of her daughter. Survivors include her son, Steve Hinson of Lancaster, SC; her daughter, Rosemary Hinson, of Locust; her sister, Lillie Huneycutt, of Albemarle; eight grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren Memorials may be made to Hartsell Funeral Home, Nellie Hinson Account, P.
