Michael Ritzheimer

Michael Charles Ritzheimer, 61, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Mike was born March 27, 1960 in Memphis, Tennessee to Gerald R Ritzheimer and Anne Odom Cole. He was also preceded in death by brother Mark Ritzheimer and sister Robin Austin.

To know Michael was to love him. As an amazing loving father and pawpaw, his kids and grandkids were his world and he loved them very much. He was known for his sense of humor and loved making people laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandkids play baseball. He loved his dogs and enjoyed taking them on hikes and for rides in his truck. Mike will be greatly missed and loved by all those who knew him.

Survivors include daughter, Amanda Casey Efird (Logan); son, Eric Michael Ritzheimer (Haley); mother, Anne Cole (Edward); brothers, David Ritzheimer and Steve Ritzheimer (Janet); grandchildren, Caiden Ritzheimer, Liam Efird, Cam Ritzheimer and Mia Ritzheimer.
