Michael Lake

June 29, 1964 — November 30, 2021

Michael Thomas Lake, 57, of Concord, passed away surrounded by his family Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Michael was born June 29, 1964 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to the late Thomas Lincoln Lake and the late Jacqueline Constance Lake. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Lake.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Lake of Concord, NC; daughter, Ashley Lake of Concord, NC; daughter, Michaela Lake (Kevin) of Midland, NC; sister, Linda Audette (Rob) of Charlestown, RI; sister-in-law Catherine Lake (Gerald) of Marshfield, MA; his furbabies Rascal, Riley, Charlie, Bella, and Luna; and grand dog Odin. Michael is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mike was a man that knew no stranger. He would be the first to offer any help he could. He treated everyone like he knew them his entire life. He lit up any room with his infectious smile. He always made sure everyone around him had what they need and had a great time. He enjoyed doing things with his girls such as JROTC, sports, racing, and craft fairs. From high school to racing his friends were an extension of his family. He loved to take trips with his wife, daughters, and four-legged kids. Recently he thoroughly enjoyed his lake days on the boat with his family and four-legged buddies. He was most proud of his family and the daughters he and his wife Donna raised. He loved his family dearly. We will remember him most as a loving, caring, happy, and funny man. He was the most amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, crew chief, and grandpaw anyone could ever ask for.

The Lake Family would like to send our sincerest gratitude to the Greene Family (Kevin, Marsha, Randy, Brendan, Megan, Reagan, Carsyn, Grammy) for all they have done for us through this difficult time.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Lake family.
