Mary Burgess

Mary Ross Burgess, 90, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020 at Stanly Manor in Albemarle.

Mary was born September 29, 1929 in North Carolina to the late Walter Lee Ross and the late Verna Ross. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Heath Wilson Burgess.

Survivors include daughter, Lynn (Bill) Matherly; grandsons, Kenny (Erin) Matherly and Kevin (Athena) Matherly; great-grandsons, Evan Matherly, Cameron Matherly, and Jaiden Matherly. She is also survived by her brothers, Tommy (Anita) Ross and Bill (Bobbie) Ross; sister, Trudy Frick; and sister-in-laws, Hazel Taylor and Latrell Ross.
