Mark Huneycutt

Mark Wayne Huneycutt, 55, of Albemarle, passed away, peacefully at his home Tuesday, November 5, 2019.

Mr. Huneycutt was born May 19, 1964 to Eula Genever Huneycutt and the late Clarence "Bill" Huneycutt. Mark thoroughly loved being a biker, traveling the country on two wheels and was a member of Speedway HOG Chapter #3399. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association and a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. Mark was a 25 year veteran truck driver and was an employee of  Efird-Quality Gas . Mark enjoyed raising cattle, farming, sawmilling, and in previous years, was the owner and operator of Mark's Cafe in Albemarle.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at 11:00 am, at Union Grove Baptist Church in Albemarle, officiated by Rev. Jeremy Blake and Rev. Jerry Mabry. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mark is survived by, son, Adam (Christine) Huneycutt of Raeford; daughter, Krystyal (David) Dulin of Albemarle; grandsons, Derick, Kye, Christopher, Wyatt and Maverick; granddaughters, Caroline and Cheyenne; sister, Geneva (Leon) Rummage of Albemarle; brother, Johnny (Tanya) Huneycutt of Badin.
