Louise Moore Hull, 96, of Midland, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Huntersville Oaks in Huntersville, NC.
Louise was born September 24, 1923 to the late James Luther and Minnie Chewning Moore. She attended Wingate College where she met and married Billy Hull, who was laid to rest January 9, 2008 on what would have been their 62nd wedding anniversary. She was also preceded in death by her great grandson Wyley Bratton.
A private family graveside service will be held July 2, 2020 at Bethel United Methodist Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Mark Clontz.
Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Mullis and husband Wayne of Mint Hill, son, Phil Hull and wife Shelley of Harrisburg, daughter Donna Wilson of Murrells Inlet, SC; grandchildren, Brent Widenhouse, Andy Widenhouse, Wesli Bratton, Ben Hull, and Karen Porter; and great-grandchildren, Eli Bratton, Gracie Bratton and Avery Faile. In addition there are many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews on both the Moore and Hull sides of the family that were especially close to “Aunt Louise”.
Mrs. Hull possessed a loving spirit that resonated with everyone she came in contact with. She developed a relationship through her later years with Ellen Locklear who became a dear friend and caregiver to both Louise and Bill.
The family would like to thank the staff at Elmcroft Assisted Living and Huntersville Oaks for the love and care that was given to their Mother when it was not possible for them to be by her side.
