Keith Benton, Jr.

Keith Franklin Benton Jr., 42, of Concord, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Mr. Benton was born August 23, 1979 in Concord, North Carolina to Keith Franklin Benton Sr. and Iris Anita Zane.

Keith loved cars and was a great mechanic. He loved anything outdoors and would spend time fishing at the river. All who knew Keith would tell you that he had a big heart and was always ready to help anyone who needed it. He cherished being able to spend time with his son, Blake, who he loved very much.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg.  At 2:00 pm, the family welcomes anyone in attendance to share memories of Keith.

Survivors include son, Jeffery Blake Harkey of Concord, NC, father, Keith Franklin Benton, Sr. of Concord, NC, mother, Anita (Allen) Zane of Charlotte, NC, sister, Michelle Elliott of Concord, NC, sister, Shannon (Sean) Morris of Charlotte, NC, 3 nephews, Nicholas, Aiden, and Easton, grandmother, Martha Benton of Concord, NC, and numerous friends and loved ones.
