Julia Hustead

Julia Mary Britz Hustead, 63, of Charlotte, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020 at her home with her family by her side.

Julia was born August 28, 1957 in Springfield, Illinois to the late Peter Joseph Britz and Pauline Ann Jarrio Britz. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Peter Charles Britz.

There will be a private family service at a later date.

In addition to her mother, Pauline Ann Jarrio Britz, she is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Henry Eastman Hustead; daughter, Emily (Ben) Ray; sons, Jay (Allie) Hustead, Peter Martin Hustead; six grandchildren, Julia, Jack, Anna, and Bugh Ray, and Porter and Harper Hustead; siblings, Matt (Cynthia) Britz, Mary Beth (Eddie) Revis,  Melissa (David) Phillips, Andy Britz, Luke (Amy) Britz; daughter-in-law, Toni Britz-Lefley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Julia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved her grandchildren, and lovingly referred to them as "her bears".
