Joyce Kiser

Joyce Plott Kiser, 69, of Concord, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022.

Joyce was born March 18, 1953 in Concord to the late Paul Albert Plott and the late Irene Ridenhour Plott.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Ernest and Earl.

Joyce loved being outdoors and going to the beach.  She also loved her dogs.  She'll be remembered for her great sense of humor and how she never met a stranger.  She enjoyed greeting everyone at Kiser Christmas Trees.  Most of all, Joyce was a good, loving and doting mother and wife and she dearly loved her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm, on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord.  The funeral service in celebration of Joyce's life will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Rev. Roxane Almond.  Joyce will be laid to rest at the Bogers Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Concord.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 50 years, Gary David Kiser of Concord; son, David Brian (Jennifer) Kiser of Midland; son, Paul David (Heather) Kiser of Midland; grandchildren, Lucy and Case Kiser; sister, Doris Fisher, Central, SC; and sister-in-law, Julia Plott of Concord.
