Josefina "Josie" Thomas

Josefina "Josie" Castro Thomas, 95, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021.

Josie was born February 4, 1926 in Cebu, Philippines to the late Ricardo Castro and Genara Bragat.

The Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church,  416 N. 2nd Street,  Albemarle, NC, officiated by Father Peter L. Fitzgibbons.  The family will receive friends after mass in the church Family Life Center with food and refreshments.

Survivors include daughters, Dallie (Done) Espina, Teofista Floyd, Josefina Duran of Albemarle; grandchildren, Jose Espina, Donna Hinson, Charlie Floyd, and Ysabella Olivo; great-grandchildren, Kirsten, Kelby, Emory, Diana, and Zane. And many more grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the Philippines.
