Jack Schultz

Jack Henry Schultz, 78, of Concord was called home on Saturday, April 24, 2021.  He went peacefully at home with his wife of 56 years, by his side, Sandra Parker Schultz.

He was born on July 25, 1942, to George and Della (Trouba) Schultz in Jackson, Mississippi, and a 1960 graduate of Central High School in Jackson.  He joined the Army National Guard and served 2 years. On March 6, 1965, he married the love of his life.  He spent most of his career working in retail. Starting with Morgan and Lindsay Department Stores, he moved to the grocery business where he spent the rest of his career.  Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  He was a Godly man with a unique personality. He was strict, but silly. Sarcastic, but full of love. He was always willing to help anyone in need, but his special brand of humor could leave you wondering.  He was a gentleman, a man’s man, a family man. He cherished his wife and they raised three sons that are continuing his legacy.

He was preceded in death by mother, Della Evelyn Schultz, father, George Daniel Schultz, Sr., and brothers; Robert and George.

Jack is survived by his Spouse Sandra; Sister, Patsy Schultz Meacham; Sons, Jack Michael Schultz (Jamie), William Jason Schultz (Kristi), Steven Patrick Schultz (Lindsay); Grandsons: Andrew, Austin, Aydan, Jack, Jacob, William, Easton, Grayson and Elias; and Great Grandson: Dominic.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:45 pm, Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord in Concord officiated by, Pastor Nathan Smith.
