Iris White

Iris Broome White, 74, of Locust N.C. passed away at home on Sunday, October 11, 2020 after a brief battle with lung cancer.

Ms.White was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be remembered for her quick wit, her fiery zest, and her compassion for others.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Ferguson (Karen) of Mint Hill; daughter, Sherrie DelRivero of Locust, NC; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice Broome; brothers, John Broome and Jimmy Broom; and grandson, Ivan DelRivero.

The family would like to thank Novant Health Hospice for their attention to her end of life care.
