Iris Harrington

Iris Jane Harrington, 79, of Cornelius, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Autumn Care-Cornelius in Cornelius.

Iris was born May 30, 1942 in Cabarrus County to the late Willie James Shoe and the late Ethel Mae Shoe. In addition to her husband John Harrington, she was also preceded in death by sisters, Doris Elizabeth Hartsell, Joyce Arlene Clark, Gay Frances Coley; son-in-law, Lynn Ray Patterson; great-grandson, Dallas Wayne Patterson.

The funeral service will be on Wednesday November 24th, 2021 at 11:00 AM  in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord officiated by Rev. Don Burleyson. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis at Hwy. 29N at I85, Exit 58, Concord.

Iris Loved her family and her grandchildren. She liked to go shopping and loved attending church and enjoyed singing in the church choir.

Survivors include daughters, Pamela Patterson and Debra Harrington; sister, Linda Diane McInnis; brother, Joseph Gary Shoe; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
