Hester Baucom

Hester Helms Baucom, 88, of Rockwell, NC passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020 at her home.

Hester was born February 27, 1932 in Charlotte, NC to the late John Thomas Helms and the late Minnie Medlin Helms. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Loretta Dean; as well as four sisters and one brother.

The funeral service will be on Tuesday, August 11th at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Tim Newton.  Burial will follow at the West Concord Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Baucom of Rockwell, NC; daughter, Kathy Dorton of Harrisburg, NC; grandchildren, Angie Drye, Crystal Cochrane, Jamie Benfield, Chris Rivers and Jonathan Dorton; great grandchildren, Johnny Munson, Michael Munson, Paige Cochrane, Jackson Cochrane, Jessica Benfield and Elleah Benfield; as well as great great grandchildren.
