Herman Wechter

Herman Theodore Wechter, 79, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Ted was born September 21, 1941 in New York to the late Sol Wechter and Ruth Wechter.
Ted was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard, he held many positions in Florida and retired to North Carolina in 2014. He became a volunteer for the Guardian Ad Litem District 20 because he wanted to help the children. Ted brought tears of joy to everyone he touched.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Survivors include loving wife, Dona Wechter, daughter, Rebecca, son, Thomas, sister, Arlene, and his grandchildren

Donations may be made in Ted's name to Stanly County Volunteer Guardian Ad Litem, P.O. Box 1814 Monroe NC 28112. In Memo line put DISTRICT 20.
