Gloria Stone

Gloria Irene Stone, 87, of Concord, passed away Friday, July 24, 2020 at her residence in Concord.

Mrs. Stone was born May 4, 1933 in Maine to the late Leon Staples and the late Louise Staples Poulin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Carold Stone.

The funeral service will be on Monday at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord and officiated by Dr. Zach Sizemore. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis at Hwy. 29N at I85, Exit 58, Concord.

Survivors include her children, Kenneth Stone of Troutman, NC, Kathy Womack, Robert Stone Sr. and Donald Stone all of Concord. As well as many Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. Gloria spent most of her life caring for children and was a Grandmother figure to many through out the years. She touch the lives of many families, caring for their children like they were her own and she will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank Coltrane Life Center for providing excellent daytime care for Gloria the last few years of her life.
