Evey will be remembered as a hard worker - he worked at Alcoa as a mechanic for over 30 years and farmed at the same time. He also tractor pulled for many years. Evey enjoyed helping people and always put others before himself. He was the strong one who took care of everybody else. He showed his love to his family by giving them a hard time. He loved to have fun, joke, and make people laugh. He also loved to sing and loved to travel - especially his trip out West. He was proud of his family, always kept in touch with them, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren teaching them to be caring hard workers just like he was. Most importantly he loved the Lord - he would often walk to church and enjoyed spending time there and singing in the Men's Choir.
