Doris Giesberg

Doris Irene Mason Giesberg, 79, of Mint Hill, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at Clear Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Mint Hill.

Doris was born September 26, 1941 in Willimantic, Connecticut, to the late Everett Mason and the late Christine Davis Mason Morgan.  In addition to her parents, Doris was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Wyatt Giesberg; and brothers, Paul and Glen Mason.

A memorial service in celebration of Doris' life will be held at 11:00 am on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home's Midland Chapel.

Doris was a loving mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed gardening, traveling, taking cruises, reading romance novels and visiting with family.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Sides and husband, Chuck, of Concord, NC; son, Brian Safarewitz and wife, Jacqui O'Shea, of Nashua, NH; grandchildren, Sarah, Austin, Ben and Rachel Sides, and Brianna, Alexandra and Caroline Safarewitz; and sister, Carol Evans.
