Dickie Lowder

Dickie Lane Lowder, 73, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at  in Albemarle.

Mr. Lowder was born December 21, 1948 in North Carolina to the late James Voit Lowder and the late Ruby Lowder. He was also preceeded in death by his brother; Buddy Lowder.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Darrell Huneycut and special friend Brent Vandervort. Concluding with Burial at Plyler Baptist Church Cemetery, 25958 Austin Road, Albemarle.

Mr. Lowder is survived by his loving wife Gayle Lowder, and sister, Linda Morgan.

Dickie had a passion for old cars which he loved to rebuild and restore. In his spare time he could be found with family and friends at car shows. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
