Dennis Clowers

Dennis Wayne Clowers, 64, of Midland, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Clowers was born February 20, 1957 in Lily, Kentucky to the late Samuel Clowers and Aileen Sullivan Clowers.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Clowers and sister Terry Volpe.

His survivors include his wife, Rhonda Fay Clowers of Midland, brother, Samuel "Butch" Clowers of Fort Mill, SC, and sisters, Colleen Drake of Charlotte and Karen Pennington of Charlotte. Also, his children Jessica and Mike Hoskins of London, KY, Daniel Clowers of Mint Hill, Justin and Melissa Clowers of Mint Hill, Ashley and Josh Poderis of Iron Station, Josh and Sarah Clowers of Mint Hill, Justin Norkett of Gainsville, FL and his fur baby, Drake. Mr. Clowers' 11 grandchildren include, Taylor, Natalie, Caleb, Noah, Hailey, Bryson, Baylee, Camden, Alex, Cannan and Preston.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. The funeral service will immediately follow.

Mr. Clowers served in the Army and the National Guard for many years. He was a hardworking and fun loving guy. He spent every moment possible at his happy place, the beach.
