Chay Thao

Nchaiv Kos Thoj (Chay Ko Thao), of Albemarle, passed away on June 14, 2021, followed within a few hours by his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Niam Nchaiv Kos Thoj (Sia Yang).

Chay Ko Thao was born on June 14, 1935.

Chay Ko is survived by his seven children, Chong Toua Thao, Chia Neng Thao, Nyia Za Thao, Cha Thao, Chou Thao, Mai Ya Thao, and Tou Ger Thao; 38 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren.

Visitation and funeral services for Chay Ko will be held from 8 a.m., August 14 through noon, August 15 at American Veterans (AMVETS) Post 910, 29856 Bob Cat Road, Albemarle, NC 28001. Visitors are welcome anytime during the 24 hours to offer condolences.

Following the services, Chay Ko will be laid to rest by his loving wife at Stanly Gardens of Memory in Albemarle, NC.
