Carolyn Lowder

Mary Carolyn Britt Lowder, 84, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 in Richfield.

Carolyn was born October 23, 1936 in Stanly County to the late Richard Allen Britt and the late Mae Clark Britt.
She was also preceded in death by husband, Alfred Allen Lowder; children  Allen Dale Lowder, and Brenda Kay Lowder (Linda's twin); sister, Joyce Bost; brothers, Daniel Lonnie Britt Sr. and James Allen Britt.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 11:45 am, Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Hill Street Church of God. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 12:00 pm at Hill Street Church of God in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Thomas Andrufski and Associate Pastor Tommy Lowder. Burial will follow at the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at 20741 Union Grove Road, Albemarle.

Survivors include son, Alfred Alexander (Malia) Lowder of Albemarle, NC, daughter, Linda L Butler of Albemarle, son, Randy (Misty) Lowder of Richfield, and niece/daughter in love Teresa Lowder; grandchildren, Dusty Furr, Sherry Lowder, Jamie Lowder, David Lowder, Joe Butler, Allen Butler, Brittany Lowder, and Destiny Lowder; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
