Barry Kendall

Barry Kendall, 72, of Concord, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Mr. Kendall was born 1949 in California to the late John & Jacqueline Kendall.He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elaine Kendall.

Barry grew up in Sacramento, California, and met his bride, Elaine, through mutual friends at UC Davis where he studied electrical engineering and she studied English. He served in the US Army, and married her immediately after he was honorably discharged. From there, he built a 40 year career as an electrical engineer focusing on testing equipment and quality control working for several companies including IBM, Goodrich Aerospace, and Cyberonics. He was a generous and devoted father to his 3 children, and showed the same love and affection for his 2 grandchildren, Alejandro and Diego.

Survivors include his three children and their families, including two incredible grandchildren. Also surviving are his three sisters and their families.
