Zelin Jefferson Page, Jr., 75 years of age, of Locust, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 at his home.
Zeke was born January 29, 1939 in Cabarrus County to the late James Zelin Page and the late Elizabeth Huneycutt Page. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Buck Page, Lloyd Page, and Charles Page.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 3:00 pm, Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Midland. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the church sanctuary with Rev. Tom Gibbs officiating. There will be a private family graveside service on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Midland Cemetery. At other times the family will be gathering at the home.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Kay Almond Page of the home; son, Dexter Page and wife Sandy of Locust; daughter, Crystal Huneycutt of Locust; four grandchildren, Leslie Furr and husband Jason of Concord, Megan Huneycutt, Taylor Huneycutt, Colby Page, all of Locust; two great-grandchildren, Afton Furr and Creed Austin; and brother, Doug Page of Kannapolis.
Zeke was a previous volunteer for the Locust and Rocky River Fire and Rescue Squads. He also loved to mow the yard.
