Yee Vu Vang

Yee Vue Vang, age 89, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose presence brought warmth, strength, and grace to all who knew her.

Yee was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Reverend Nao Lu Vang, and her beloved sons Sur-Shaw Vang and James (Kou) Vang. Though we mourn her loss deeply, we take comfort in knowing she is reunited with them.

She is survived by her loving children: Daughter Pang V. Lee, sons Chue Vang, Pao Choua Vang, Keng Vang, Kaha Vang, Kong Vang, Kao Vang, and Lee Vang.

Yee’s legacy lives on through her 29 cherished grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, each of whom carry a piece of her wisdom, compassion, and enduring love.

Yee Vue Vang will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her strength through life’s challenges, and the love she shared so generously with family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, kindness, and deep family devotion.

Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler memorial Chapel, with Funeral Service to be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at 10:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle, North Carolina with burial to follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Vang family.
