Willie Smith

Willie Faye Smith, 87 years of age, of Locust, passed away Monday, December 30, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. Faye was born October 18, 1926 in North Carolina to the late William Alexander Love and the late Ocie Odell Helms Love . She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 10 am to 11 am at Coyle Baptist Church. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. David Sanders, will follow at 11 am in the church sanctuary. The burial will be at the church cemetery. She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Joel Kenneth Smith of the home; four sons, Herman Smith, Justin (Joanne) Smith, Jeffery Smith, and Dale (Charlene) Stancil all of Locust; three brothers, Johnny, Billy, and Charles Love; 2 sisters, Janie Barnhardt and Shirley Wilson; three granddaughters, and nine great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers, Tabitha and Sonji, for their love and care.
