William “Bill” Isenhour, Age 72 of 4375 Cauble Road, Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina, passed away on October 05, 2009 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Cabarrus County on June 28, 1937. William Isenhour was preceded in death by his father-Carl Samuel Isenhour. He was a US Navy Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Isenhour was a owner and operator of Isenhour Home Builders. He was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church, and Stokes Masonic Lodge #32 AF & AM. He was also a Shriner, a member of the American Legion, and the Homebuilders Association. He was a sponsor for Credit Profession International. He along with his wife Mary were volunteers for Meals on Wheels. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 06:00 PM 08:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 at St. Martin Lutheran Church-Concord at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Dr. John F. Merck officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Gilead Lutheran Church Cemetery. Masonic graveside rites will be performed by Stokes Masonic Lodge #32 AF & AM. William Isenhour was survived by his spouse Mary A. Isenhour of Mt.Pleasant; sons- Carl Samuel Isenhour of Concord, and Jacob William Isenhour & wife Frances of Mt. Pleasant; mother- Julia “Peggy” Isenhour of Concord; brother- Ronald Lee Isenhour of Mt. Pleasant; granddaughter- Lori Beth Isenhour; and great-grandson- Riley Connell. The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Robinson and staff, Dr. David Rhodes and Lisa Staton, and to all the staff of neuroscience at CMC-NorthEast., also Hospice of Cabarrus County for all their support and care for Bill.
