William Hathcock

William Lamar Hathcock, 61 years of age, of Kannapolis, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Carolina's Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.
Mr. Lamar was born July 12, 1953 in Cabarrus County to the late Don Lamar Hathcock and the late Audrey Jean Hooks. He was also preceded in death by brother, James Matthews and his grandson Kevin D. (Wayne Lynn) Hathcock.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The graveside service will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday at West Concord Cemetery. At other times the family will be gathering at the home.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Debra Ann Henry Hathcock of the home; son, Phillip Hathcock of Salisbury; daughter, Shannon Hathcock White of Rockwell; five grandchildren; and sisters, Donna Laney and Carol Vandekree, both of Mt. Pleasant.
