Wilbur "Mike" Michael Cook, 81, of Concord, NC passed away Friday, February 13, 2026 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
Mike was born November 6, 1944 in Chatham County, North Carolina to the late Wilbur Arlie Cook and the late Emma Estelle Johnson Cook.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Connie Christie.
Survivors include son, Jeffrey Michael Cook of Concord, NC; and son, Jason Patrick Cook of Concord, NC.
Mike worked at Duke Energy for fifty years and retired in 2019. He enjoyed racing and cars in general. Mike will be missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Mike's life will be on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 11:30am at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, 460 Branchview Dr. NE, Concord, NC 28025.
