Wayne David Parker, 80 years of age, of Richfield, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at his home in Richfield.
Wayne was born January 1, 1935 in Stanly County to the late Fair David Parker and the late Leona Fraley Parker.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Richard Parker.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Monday at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Michael Madaris.
Survivors include loving wife of 60 years, Bonnie Odessa Morris Parker of Richfield, NC; daughters, Angie (Rick) Blakely of Salisbury and Tamara Norton of Ruffin; sons, Rocky (Donna) Parker of Richfield and Chad (Liane) Parker of New London; brother, Joe Parker of Richfield; grandchildren, Kristen and Ashton Blakely, Mary and Casey Norton, Brandon, Jessica, and Riley Parker, Celeste and Connor Parker; great-granddaughters, Skyler Blakely, Brielle Blakely, and Bonnie-Annie Harward Norton; and great grandsons, Christian and Corbin Parker.
