Wayne Douglas Clemons, Jr.

Early in the morning of June 13 2026, Wayne Douglas Clemons Jr. passed away at home. Surrounded by his loving wife and children.

Son of the late Wayne Douglas Clemons and Ernestine Clemons, Doug was born in Fort Myers Florida on January 2nd 1974 and Lived in Clewiston, Florida for much of his life.

It was there he loved and cherished his wife of thirty years, Kimberly Brooke Clemons and their three children, Dustin Tyler Clemons (Savannah), Wesley Aaron Clemons (Bre), and Cody Alan Clemons. Doug also has two wonderful sisters, Amy Clemons and Teresa Edens that survive him.

Doug lived by a few simple rules in life. Primary of which was the K.I.S.S. principle, or Keep It Simple Stupid. He believed the best things that you would find in life were the simplest, a quiet morning on the lake fishing with his sons, a warm crackling bonfire in the evening with his wife, the calming sounds of the backyard after a long day at work.

In the times life became difficult he had a chief rule for dealing with adversity. Whether dealing with people or natural forces he would always either “Blind them with Brilliance or Baffle them with Bull”

Hartsell Funeral Home is holding the memorial service for Doug at 10am on June 20th at the Lefler Memorial Chapel at their Albemarle location.
