Wanda Beaver

Wanda  Beaver, 79, of Locust, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at her home.

Mrs. Beaver was born on January 16, 1943, to the late Frank Victor and Audrey Bridges Webster. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Rufus Webster; sister, Linda Leigh and her great-grandson, Alec Shires.

The family will be having a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Community Baptist Church, 818 N Central Aveune, Locust.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Thomas Nolan Beaver, Sr.; daughter, Dixie (Tim) Shires of Stanfield; son, Thomas (Laura) Beaver, Jr. of Concord; brothers, Claude (Debbie) Webster of Shelby and Larry (Kathy) Webster of Grover; sister, Aileen Horton of Spartanburg, SC. Wanda also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Beth (Aron Stelmach) Shires, Samantha (Jeff) Martin, Louis (Jess) DiGioia, Bobby (Heather) Shires, Skylar (Ryan) Morgan, Nathan Shires and Shane Beaver; 8 great-grandchildren, Aria, Ava, Dalia, Tristan, Dominic, Luca, Mollie and Raven.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to West Stanly Christian Ministries or to your local house of worship.
