Wade Hatley

Wade Hampton Hatley, 91 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Bethany Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Albemarle. He was born August 15, 1922 in Stanly County to the late Ruben Lemuel Hatley and the late Dora Elizabeth Hatley . He was also preceded in death by son, Wallace Allen Hatley. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, August 23, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home - Midland. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 2:00 pm at First Baptist, 200 Hwy. 200, Stanfield, officiated by Rev. Bruce League. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include wife of 70 years, Annie Lee Smith Hatley of Stanfield; son, James Wayne Hatley and wife Dedria of Locust; daughter, Judy H. Tucker of Oakboro; son, Donald Lee Hatley and wife Myra of Locust; brother, Hubert Lee Hatley of Oakboro; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Hatley family.
