Wade Gardin

Wade Junior Gardin, 79, of Norwood, passed away Friday, August 30, 2013 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. He was born June 15, 1934 in Madison County to the late Daniel Garret Gardin and the late Cora Ethel Suttles Gardin . He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Gardin and Frank Gardin. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 2, 2013 from 6 -8 pm at Hartsell Funeral in Albemarle . The funeral service will be on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 11 am in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Todd McSwain. Burial will follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory. Survivors include wife, Agnes Elizabeth Gardin of Norwood, NC; sons, David (Eva) Gardin of Norwood, NC, Danny (Rhonda H.) Gardin of Wadesboro, NC, and Harold (Amanda H.) Gardin of Norwood, NC, granddaughters,Melissa Efird (Daniel), Jennifer Gardin, Nicole Gardin, and Tara Gardin; grandsons, Tyler Vanhoy, Colton Gardin; great-granddaughters, Cheyenne Efird, Addison Frick, and one brother, John Gardin. The family wishes to recognize Hospice of Stanly County, Stanly Regional Medical Center, and Dr. Rufus Lefler, MD. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Gardin family.
