Victor A. Karam

Victor Abraham Karam, 92, of Albemarle, North Carolina, and retired President of McRae Industries, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, October 9, 2026.

Victor was born February 14, 1934 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Karam A. Karam and Lillian Naddaff Karam. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rose A. Karam; his son, Stephen A. Karam; and his grandson, Victor A. Karam III.

Victor was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend to so many. He was deeply loved by his family and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, love, and friendship touched many lives, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 pm - Friday, October 16, 2026 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Friday at 3:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle, officiated by his favorite daughter Allison Rose Daniels.

Victor is survived by his son, Victor A. Karam (Mary) of Charlotte, NC, daughter, Allison Rose Daniels of Charlotte, NC, daughter-in-law, Charlaine Karam of Raleigh, NC and Fiancee, Gwenda York. He is also survived by his brother, Dr. Ronald Karam; sisters, Eleanor Accettullo (Anthony) and Lorraine Baccari (Edward); and his grandchildren, Vale Daniels (Victoria), Kai Daniels (Corey), Alec J. Karam (Kristiana), Nicole Karam, and Lindsi Karam.
