Vickie Plummer

Vickie Sue Plummer, 68, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord.

Vickie was born May 31, 1954 in North Carolina to the late Price Lindsey and the late Martha Lindsey. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Amanda Plummer, brother, Tony Ray Lindsey.

Vickie loved people and people loved Vickie. Her family was the shining light in her eyes and she shined in their eyes. She had retired to spend time with the love of her life Lewis and the rest of her adoring family. She had an impressive and long career as a state licensed optician with special medical certifications. Among many other talents and joys,Vickie was a creative and talented artist. She enjoyed painting, singing, cooking, and family. Her compassion and kindness for others was second to none. Her humble spirit was only matched by her undeniable strength and positive attitude. She was called home by her Heavenly Father and will be missed greatly by those who love her.

The memorial service will be on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 229 Westover Ave, Kannapolis, NC 28081 at 4pm, officiated by Pastor Ronnie Brown.

Survivors include husband, Lewis Anderson Plummer of Concord, NC, daughter, Martha Jo (Danny) Mahaffey, daughter, LaVaughne Eudy, son, Lindsey Dale (Nicole ) Eudy, daughter, Helen Thorley, grandson, Jadon Issac Mahaffey, granddaughter, Melanie Nicole Mahaffey, grandson, Anthony Rhinehardt-Plummer, granddaughter, Anna Plummer, granddaughter, Emma Deegan, sister, Cathy LaVawgne Lindsey, sister, Tammy Ann Jasinto, sister, Lena Jo Lindsey (Daryl) Brown, also several beloved nieces and nephews. Her family and friends loved her dearly.
