Tommy Cook

Tommy Ivan Cook, 78 years of age, of Charlotte, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 at his home in Charlotte.

Tommy was born April 19, 1936 in Drumright, Oklahoma to the late Charles C Cook and the late Ada Ethel Johnson Cook.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. There will be a second visitation on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow at 12:30 pm on Wednesday in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Scott Carpenter. The burial will be at 2:00 pm at the Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury. Military honors will be conducted by the National Marine Corp. Honor Guard.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Catherine M. Cook of the home; daughter, Linda Erickson of Concord; son, Mike Cook of Concord; brother, Donald Mike Cook; grandchildren, Tom Cook, Kaitlin Cook, Johnny Cook, Gabrielle Cook, TJ Erickson, Liana Erickson Woolwine of Midland, TX; great-grandchildren, Isabella Grace Cook of Concord.
