Terry Byrd

Terry Byrd, 67, of Concord, NC passed away at home on Monday, July 19, 2021.

Terry "T-Byrd" as he was known by his friends and family, was born January 29, 1954 in Hohenwald, TN to the late Buck Byrd and Betty Jo Alford.  He was also preceded in death by his father in law, Donald L. Martindale and grandfather in law, Robert E. Martindale.

Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Catherine Byrd of Concord, NC; son, Joey Byrd; daughter in law, Maria Floren Byrd; Gary and Misti Whitman; grandchildren, Isabella Sofia Byrd, Amaya Rose Byrd, Leilana Camila Byrd and Emma Grace Whitman; brother in law, Don "Wink" Martindale and wife Laura; sister in law, Brenda Gapen and husband Terry; as well as countless loving friends and his work family.

A memorial service to celebrate Terry's life will be held from 2:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday, July 24th at 3608 Trinity Church Road in Concord.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
