Susan Whitley
June 21, 1946 — February 13, 2016
Susan Leonard Whitley, 69 years of age, of Hickory, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Catawba Regional Hospice in Newton.
Mrs. Whitley was born in Stanly County to the late Joseph Thomas Leonard and Frances Elizabeth Leonard.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Fairview Memorial Park, 1425 East Main Street in Albemarle officiated by Rev John Futterer.
Survivors include husband, Johnny Whitley of Hickory, son, Jonathan Whitley and wife Mayumi of Lorton, VA, daughter, Jennifer Gatewood and husband Trey of Newton, and grandchildren, Jackson and Ella Whitley and Callen Gatewood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catawba Regional Hospice, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 21658 .
