Sue Morgan

Sue Morgan, 78 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at her residence.

Sue was born January 18, 1936 in Cabarrus County to the late Alva Ralph Smith and Willie McManus Smith. She was also preceded in death by husband, Bobby Ray Morgan.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Saturday, January 17, 2015 at First Baptist Church - Stanfield. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church - Stanfield officiated by Rev. Bruce League. Burial will follow at the Clarks Grove Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Hwy. 200, Stanfield.

Survivors include, daughter, Donna Hollowell of Kitty Hawk; son Phillip Ray Morgan (Christy Crisco) of Oakboro; daughter, Tracy Whichard of Edenton, NC; seven grandchildren; one great granddaughter; significant other, Hoyle Little of Stanfield; and brother Robert Smith of Concord.

Sue was a member of First Baptist of Stanfield and a member of the West Stanly Lions Club.
