He was a military veteran having served honorably in the U.S. Army in both Iraq and Afghanistan as an Intel Analyst (which less than one million U.S. Military members served in both). During his military service he received the following: Iraq Campaign Medal (with 2 Campaign Stars), Afghanistan Campaign Medal (with 2 Campaign Stars), and Army Commendation and Achievement Award Medals.
We would like to thank the many of Steve's childhood, college, military, and church friends from around the country who have reached out to share their memories of him. Reading how his intelligence , unique perspective of the world, his smile, sense of humor, and his unwavering faith in God impacted their lives was a blessing to our family.
One of his greatest joys was becoming "Tio" to Marshal Jordan (nephew), being a big brother to twin sisters Michelle Jordan (Marshal's Mama), and Meredith Jordan, of Concord, NC. He was a loving son and is survived by his mother, Cynthia Navarro-Jordan, of Concord, NC. His father, Jeffrey (Dena) Jordan, step siblings, Bennett Ferris and Ella Ferris of East Olympia, WA.
