Sheryl Denise Lanier

Sheryl Denise Lanier, 64, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023 at her home.

Sheryl was born August 18, 1959 in North Carolina to the late Ray Allen Lanier and the late Lelia Jean Lanier. 
She was also preceded in death by sister, Susan Fries; sister-in-law, Benita Lanier. 

The graveside service will be on Friday at 11:30 am at Crown Memorial Park in Pineville officiated by Pastor Lawson Whitson. 

Survivors include sisters, Vickie (David) Ballard of Indian Trail, NC, Janine (John) Yvars of Concord, NC, Shelia Thornton of Harrisburg, NC; brother, Danny Lanier of Charlotte, NC; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

A few words that describe Sheryl are Strong, Independent, and determined. She was a loving sister and friend to those who knew her. She will be sorely missed.
