Sheila Reidette Shepherd

Sheila Reidette Shepherd, 73, of Bolivia, NC went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

Sheila was born July 24, 1952 in Concord, NC to the late David "Reid" Hampton and the late Billie "Ann" Eagle.

She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Grady and Beulah Hampton, and grandmother Ruth Armstrong; her brother Jay Hampton.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 20 years, Thomas W. Shepherd of Bolivia, NC (formerly of Concord, NC); daughter, Kara Long and husband Ricky, grandchildren Bailey Long and Graham Long; step-son, Andy Shepherd and wife Laura, and their children Jack and Emma Grace; sister, Donna Smith and husband Danny; niece, Christy Belk and nephew, Wesley Smith.

Sheila truly loved the Lord above all. She enjoyed photography, animals and singing. Sheila was very creative and loved scrapbooking and painting. She was an extremely giving person her entire life. Sheila will be dearly missed by her family and all those who loved her.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Monday, February 9, 2026 at Hartsell Funeral of Concord, 460 Branchview Dr., Concord, NC. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Chapel of Concord, officiated by Rev. Mike Hubbard. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum in Kannapolis, NC.
